Normative State

Question comes about values and norms whether the state is cosmopolitan or communitarianism identity.
In Europe we have fight between catholic and Protestants.
There is an issue of Christian morality. Can values be separated? Are we going to redefine values?
East vs. west- in cold war we had west represented by democracy and free trade while east represented communism socialism.
North vs. south- developed states vs. developing states. North is quite united but south is not united.
We cannot have values in global system.
Political ideologies vs. cultural ideologies- globalization has given rise to fundamentalism religious fundamentalism.
We have Islamic civilization vs. western civilization.
WTO- economic regimes.
In the west separation from religion secularism this issue solved in Machiwale’s period. Western civilizations believe that values are universal. Liberal and neoliberal come with Rawls. They believe in inclusive values.
Extensive values are Sinner and Kafirs.
Globalization brings- inequality, insecurity, challenges, opportunities, and unequalization.
